Sailing School: Sail-Over to Fire Island - Friday July 30th 10am-4pm students bring your own bag lunch to picnic over at Talisman beach.
All classes Sessions A & B arrive at WPSA at 10am, rig, depart at 11am, arrive on Fire Island noon for picnic and fun! We will NOT be going on the ocean side. All students must remain with the group. We leave to sail home at 2/2:30pm. Arrive at WPSA to de-rig around 3/3:30pm, ready to go home around 4/4:30pm.
RSVP absolutely required in advance so we can plan boat seats. Students with own boats will sail them, others will sail club boats. All Opti's will be daisy chain towed behind larger boats as they are slower on their own.
Note that if the wind and weather isn't good, this event will be cancelled and children are here they will need to be picked up promptly - it will not be a club day.
Sunscreen, sunhats, sunglasses recommended. Life vests mandatory. Put your name on your lunch, they will be all be taken over in our cooler.

Excursions are weather dependent - and may be cancelled if wind or weather is poor or hazardous conditions exist.
CANCELLATIONS WILL BE EMAILED TO THE RSVP LIST. STUDENTS MAY NOT DROP IN WITHOUT AN RSVP, WE MUST KNOW IN ADVANCE WHO IS COMING FOR YOUR SAFETY.
