&lt;p style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;Dry Sail by season is available for storage on our rack, on your dolly or your trailer.&amp;nbsp; This is an additional fee based on the size and class of boat, on top of your membership. This is seasonal.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;You must have a &lt;strong&gt;Family Membership&lt;/strong&gt; to utilize Dry Sail, even if you qualify for senior membership. &lt;p&gt;A current family membership is needed to enroll any and all family members.&amp;nbsp; You cannot be in arrears for dry sail or other matters.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Bad weather happens - while we may extend a makeup day (for weather cancellations only) but do not guarantee that there will be a 1 for 1 makeup.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;DRY SAIL STUDENT DISCOUNT:&amp;nbsp; We encourage students use their own boats in paid lessons.&amp;nbsp; We are pleased to offer a Summer Dry Sail discount of $50 per session, per boat for students using their own boat - this comes off the dry sail payment, not class enrollment.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There is a limit of $100 per boat (2 sessions), the boat must be the same boat used in lessons.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Once registration for membership and class is submitted (stop at the payment screen) and email us - we will adjust your invoice and email you the adjusted one.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You will have until the day before your session begins to pay dry sail in full.&amp;nbsp; Dry Sail is yard storage for member's boats.&amp;nbsp; You must inquire with Barbara through the PSC email below to receive this.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;JR RACING TEAM - ADVANCED:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Ages 10-17. &amp;nbsp; Advanced sailing skills needed.&amp;nbsp; Dinghy racing in your choice of boat - solo in Opti, Sunfish or Laser or the 2-handed 420 (partner needed).&amp;nbsp; We have 5 club 420’s and 7 Optis for student use - or use your own.&amp;nbsp; Student has previous sailing instruction and is ready to compete.&amp;nbsp; Review basic race rules and tactics.&amp;nbsp; Students will sail common race courses such as windward-leeward course and triangular course.&amp;nbsp; Practice and improve upon effective starts, including favored end of starting line, basic starting techniques, understanding of starting sequence.&amp;nbsp; Learn center of lateral resistance, center of effort, optimal sail shape, fine tune sail trim using telltales.&amp;nbsp; Improve rounding of all marks properly.&amp;nbsp; Learn protocol to lodge a protest.&amp;nbsp; We recommend you sign up for both Session A &amp;amp; B together to not lose your place in the class.&amp;nbsp; Bad weather days we still hold classroom lessons. &lt;p&gt;Individuals ages 16 &amp;amp; up or family groups (parents/grandparents/children) of all ages for evening sails.&amp;nbsp; Beginners through advanced -the class will be adjusted to your skill level.&amp;nbsp; Learn skills, leave &amp;amp; return to dock, trim sails for power, sail around marks, anchor, reef sail, sail on just a mainsail or a jib, knots, dock lines, and more.&amp;nbsp; Learn to sail, learn with family, gain confidence, have fun!&amp;nbsp; We use Mercury and Flying Scot group boats in this class. &amp;nbsp; We recommend you sign up for both Session A &amp;amp; B together to not lose your place in the class - it will fill.&amp;nbsp; On poor weather/windy evenings we still hold land based sessions in the classroom.&amp;nbsp; Students are encouraged to register for both sessions for a full summer of learning.&amp;nbsp; YOU MUST REGISTER EACH FAMILY MEMBER SEPERATELY, THIS IS AN INDIVIDUAL RATE.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Sunfish &amp;amp; 420's are invited to join the Friday night PHRF Race series, with staggered starts for different classes of boats.&amp;nbsp; &lt;u&gt;The Ma Huus Championship eligibility to win is only open to WPSA members sailing Sunfish but all may race as normal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#9E0B0F"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;History of the "Ma" Huus:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;"The CC Knockabout Class donated the "Ma" Huus Trophy in 1965 to commemorate Augusta M. "Ma" Huus, whose service, spirit and devotion to the association was of unparalleled importance in leading the organization to it's present high esteem and whose particular interest in the CC Knockabout Class helped in sustaining that class so that it had existed as an active racing class longer than any other in the Wet Pants Sailing Association.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#9E0B0F"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;It is now awarded to the Wet Pants Member who has the best record in a three-race Sunfish Series.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt; Ma Huus was Financial Secretary and also served on the Race Committee when not crewing for her husband.&amp;nbsp; She was also the recipient of the Sacred Pants in 1959."&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

"Ma" Huus, whose service, spirit and devotion to the association was of unparalleled importance in leading the organization to it's present high esteem and whose particular interest in the CC Knockabout Class helped in sustaining that class so that it had existed as an active racing class longer than any other in the Wet Pants Sailing Association.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

"Ma" Huus, whose service, spirit and devotion to the association was of unparalleled importance in leading the organization to it's present high esteem and whose particular interest in the CC Knockabout Class helped in sustaining that class so that it had existed as an active racing class longer than any other in the Wet Pants Sailing Association.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#9E0B0F"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;It is now awarded to the Wet Pants Member who has the best record in a three-race Sunfish Series.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt; Ma Huus was Financial Secretary and also served on the Race Committee when not crewing for her husband.&amp;nbsp; She was also the recipient of the Sacred Pants in 1959."&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>WPSA Sunfish Race - Summer Series 2026 - open to all members! (1 Sep 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Get out and join our Sunfish series!&amp;nbsp; Fleet races hone your skills, get in some racing with others in the WPSA Sunfish community with Fleet Captain, Lee Montes on Tuesday nights at 6pm, (posted 8pm end time is approximate time off the water, and may vary!!) wind and weather permitting. &amp;nbsp;Please come down EARLIER to rig and launch.&amp;nbsp; Be out and &lt;u&gt;check in at the committee boat before the 6pm start&lt;/u&gt; - give your name and sail number for each race.&amp;nbsp; If you don't have a sail number to identify, you can apply a simple one (numbers or a letter etc) with electrical tape (they are typically 9-12" high.&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;Free to race!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0px !important;"&gt;Adults, youths - all ages welcome, all sailors must be capable to sail, maneuver, and capsize recover independently and without supervision.&amp;nbsp; Dates are weather dependent - and may be cancelled if wind/weather are poor or hazardous conditions exist.&amp;nbsp; Check on &lt;a href="https://www.facebook.com/wetpantssailing" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;font color="#0000FF"&gt;F&lt;u&gt;acebook&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt; for weather cancellations, the SportsYou app, or with Lee.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;RACE REGISTRATION IS INFORMAL - AND FREE!&amp;nbsp; It is helpful for us if you register here for a headcount and show up on Tuesdays BEFORE 6pm (6pm you should be out on the course ready to start).&amp;nbsp; See Fleet Captain, Lee Montes for any questions about anything Sunfish!&amp;nbsp; DO check in on the water at the race committee boat with your name and sail number, every race.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Also please DO alert the race committee boat if you ever have to go in to shore early or have any issues on the water so they are aware you are off the water and safe as they might not be aware, remember they are officiating a race.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Not ready to race?&amp;nbsp; Come down and watch the fleet prep their boats and ask all the questions you want!&amp;nbsp; They love to share!&amp;nbsp; Youth are welcome to participate if they can be unsupervised, have shown competence to compete approved by the instruction staff, and a life jacket is a must, always.&amp;nbsp; We have a Committee boat out on the water for race nights to oversee, score, and for safety if you are unable to recover.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Sunfish &amp;amp; 420's are invited to join the Friday night PHRF Race series, with staggered starts for different classes of boats.&amp;nbsp; &lt;u&gt;The Ma Huus Championship eligibility to win is only open to WPSA members sailing Sunfish but all may race as normal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#9E0B0F"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;History of the "Ma" Huus:&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;"The CC Knockabout Class donated the "Ma" Huus Trophy in 1965 to commemorate Augusta M.
