WPSA Fall Business Meeting - PART 1 of 2 - in-person & Zoom

Members Only.  Come to our twice a year informational meeting in Spring & Fall - ask questions, give suggestions, volunteer, get to know other members.  This year due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation and building restrictions with Town of Islip, the meeting location is live in person and via Zoom meeting sent to you via email Friday 9/11/20.   If you did not receive this Zoom info email, email psc@wetpantssailing.org.  


If attending via Zoom, you need to register via the email you were sent 9/11 via the link that was attached.

During a recent WPSA Board meeting which was held on September 4, 2020, it was fully discussed and agreed how the required Fall Business Meeting will be organized for the inclusion of as many WPSA members as possible.  In addition, the process in which votes will be cast for those open Flag Officer positions was decided upon. 
 

As such, please be advised of the following; dates, time and process:

September 17, 2020 - WPSA Fall Business Meeting (beginning at 7:00PM)

The following is an agenda for the upcoming WPSA Fall Business Meeting which will include reports to the WPSA membership from the Executive Board from:

  • Commodore
  • Vice Commodore
  • Rear Commodore
  • Parental Steering Committee
  • GSBYRA
  • Financial Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Fleet Captains; Sunfish, Handicap & PHRF

Once the WPSA Fall Business Meeting has concluded, your next opportunity to participate will be:

September 24, 2020 WPSA Membership Voting (6:00pm-8:00pm)

Port O‘ Call will be open to the WPSA Membership for voting through the use of secret ballots and those who have been nominated to fill the WPSA Board positions during the 2020 – 2021 term.  The drop-in hours for in-person voting will be from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.  

There will be a rolling entrance and exit, to ensure compliance with the NYS Laws as related to COVID-19 guidance for social distancing and wearing of masks.  Upon your arrival, there will be a check-in process prior to receiving a ballot.
